Baptism pics

Baptism

Dax was baptized June 15th 2008.  We had family and friends attend his baptism.  Dax, being the first to get baptized in the family was a very emotional experience.  When I saw him go under the water I felt a rush of emotions.  I had a flashback of holding him as a new born baby and looking down into his eyes with such love and excitement for him to start his new life here on earth.  I felt that same way when he was baptized and confirmed a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints.  I am so excited for this new chapter of his life.  Dax, was filled with joy and excitement right before he was baptized.  He knew this was a very important day and this was a very big step to becoming more like his Savior. I am so grateful for the Gospel in our lives and the chance we have to raise children and to teach them about the Savior and his love for them.

More Birthday pictures

Dax's Birthday

Dax, had his 8th birthday on June 13th.  This was his year for a party, so he decided he wanted to invite a few friends to go biking at the BMX bike park .  This was a perfect boy party they got dirty, they got to ride their bikes down dangerous hills, and had fun with just playing rough with the boys.  We did have some injuries but nothing to serious.  I think all the boys had a blast.

After the bike park they all came back over to my house for some lunch and water games.  It was a very hot day so we had a big water fight and then had some cake and ice cream and then opened up presents.  It was a wonderful day but Dax was so excited for the next day.  On June 15th Dax was baptized a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints.

Sunset in Cancun

CANCUN

We just got back from a fun vacation in cancun, Mexico. We had a wonderful time with our friends. I could lay around all day on the beach with the sound of the waves crashing on the shore, reading a good book, and all the free virgin daiqures I could get my hands on. I would have to say it was the most relaxing trip I have taken in a long while. We love our friends they are so great to hang out with. I would for sure take this trip again. It was hard to leave the kids but it totally rejuvenated us and we were so excited to come home and see our children. I love getting away with my husband once in awhile we enjoyed every minuite being together.

Easter Sunday

We woke up and the kids ran in to find their easter baskets. For Easter I always buy a Sunday outfit. We have church at 9:00 so we did not have alot of time to lay around. The kids stuffed themselves with candy got dressed in their best and ran out the door. Our house is crazy on Sunday. We came home to a mess of candy and gifts strewn every where. I had to get a few pictures of my boys all matching in their Sunday best before they came home and destroyed their clothes with chocolate. All in all our Easter Sunday was wonderful and a great reminder of our Savior's love for all of us.

Easter Lunch with Grandma and Grandpa

Passover Dinner

We reinacted the passover with the kids this year. The kids had a blast. They dressed up and we ate unleavened bread, meat, dried fruit and Grape Juice. I don't recommend Grape Juice especially, with small children. We have a big stain right in the middle of our carpet. Next year we will serve White Grape juice. The kids really enjoyed the whole event it is a great way to focus on the Savior this Easter Season.

Sunday Afternoon

Right when we get home from church the boys run and change their clothes and then head to the back yard. The spring weather is beautiful here. I let the baby just roam around the yard and he tries to put everything in his mouth he can find. The boys play ball and now Nash who is 2 thinks he is one of the big boys now and has to play with them. He has gotten pretty good at keeping up with what ever the boys are doing.
